The varieties in our Ornamental Tree Program are more than just new or exciting. We think about the unique spaces a tree must fill and the varied climates where it’s expected to thrive. We consider the special qualities a variety needs to be enjoyed, not just for a season, but as a long-term component of a landscape, forever home, or city infrastructure.
To be included in the program, a tree must be a breakthrough variety, exhibit unique architecture, and offer trusted performance. Whether it’s a game changer like Garden Gems® Cercis or an improvement over market varieties as seen in the foliage quality of Amber Glow™ Metasequoia, we are always on the lookout for new cultivars.
Product Forms
Star® Roses and Plants prioritizes offering the plants you want in the forms you need. We partner with experienced tree producers to supply you with quality young plants. Forms we offer include bare root, budded rootstock, tissue culture-grown liners, and container shifts.

Selling Our Trees In The Bloomables® Brand
Our tree genetics can be grown and sold in the Bloomables® brand. Bloomables® is a fully developed brand complete with retail-ready pots, tags, P.O.P. materials, marketing support, national advertising, and consumer website and socials. It is not mandatory, and you choose whether you want to opt in.
Want to leverage all our branding and increase your margins? We’re here to help. But just because a plant is available to grow and sell as a Bloomables® variety doesn’t mean you can’t offer it in a traditional non-branded way if that works better for you.
