What To Plant If You Love Knock Out® Roses

If You Love Knock Out®

The original Knock Out® rose is iconic for its deep pink, long-lasting blooms. Though few flowering shrubs can match its flower power, Brick House® is one amazing rose!

Why you’ll love it: Brick House® has deep, scarlet blooms that offer a similar, single petal display as Knock Out®. It also has incredible landscape performance and excellent resistance to common rose diseases, including black spot, rust, powdery mildew, and downy mildew. This rose has a slightly smaller habit than Knock Out®, maturing at about 3-feet tall, so it will fit anywhere in the garden.

If You Love Pink Double Knock Out®

Looking for additional ruffly, pink blooms to add to your garden? PowerPuff Pink® harnesses all the bubblegum-pink pop of Pink Double Knock Out® and makes it electric!

Why you’ll love it: PowerPuff Pink® produces very full blooms that cover the plant in clusters of 6–8 roses per stem. Although a Floribunda, not a shrub rose, it matures to a similar size as Pink Double Knock Out® at around 4-feet high. And if fragrant roses are your thing, you’ll enjoy its moderate lemongrass aroma!

If You Love White Knock Out®

White roses that don’t dry out and crisp up can be hard to find, which is why White Knock Out® is such an impressive award-winner. But Pretty Polly® White meets the bar!

Why you’ll love it: Pretty Polly® White has a much smaller bloom size, but the entire shrub is covered in flowers! This variety attracts pollinators with its yellow eye, much like White Knock Out®, and both roses have won the Blue Ribbon™ Award for drought tolerance.

If You Love Petite Knock Out®

The first miniature Knock Out® rose took the gardening world by storm when it was introduced, as it brought Knock Out® flower power to the patio. To date, it is the only miniature Knock Out® rose, but Sunblaze® Watermelon is another high-performing option!

Why you’ll love it: Sunblaze® Watermelon performs beautifully in decorative containers and has a similar miniature rose size as Petite Knock Out®. It has slightly larger blooms with 50+ petals each and a saturated red color. Simply delightful!

If You Love Blushing Knock Out®

If delicate, pastel roses like Blushing Knock Out® are your style, you will love the dreamy blush pink blooms of Mother of Pearl®.

Why you’ll love it: Mother of Pearl® is a Grandiflora rose that matures at around 4-feet tall, so it fills a nice area of the garden like a Knock Out® rose does. The blooms are a light, romantic pink with a more traditional rose shape than Blushing Knock Out®. Mother of Pearl® has exceptional performance and disease resistance.
